November 6, 2008 at 5:40 pm #135138Just beginning to play with this. Using Joomla 1.5.4. Helio template.
url: http://www.wholelivingnaturals.com
slide show seems to work on home page and shop page, but no other pages. it will show the first slide then no others appear. see attached screen capture to see the settings.
once this gets working I would also like to know the exact code you place in the descriptions box so that I can have links going from each picture to products in our shop. I see a lot of posts for linking but not sure how to set up the code for each picture
any help would be greatly appreciated.

November 6, 2008 at 7:08 pm #278341Not really sure how to fix it but your slideshow problem seemsto be something to do with SEF urls….
For example:
On your home page the slides are being called from /images/stories/Slides/Other_Natural.jpg but on your credentials page they are being called from /Credentials/images/stories/Slides/Other_Natural.jpg
I recommend before you do anything you upgrade to Joomla 1.5.7

November 7, 2008 at 12:11 am #278368any ideas where the patch would be located? it is definetly an SEF issue. using sh404SEF. turned it off and everything works just fine.
I will go cruise the forums and see if I can find a patch.
thanks to both of you for the replies

November 7, 2008 at 4:20 pm #278456Hi Caclemor
I had the same problem with the slideshow on JA Helio (Joomla 1.5). I e-mailed the guys at Joomlart and they have now fixed the bugs in the slideshow module.
Try downloading the latest slideshow mod from the JA Helio template and reinstalling it. This update worked for me and I can now run different slideshows on several pages without a problem.
Hope this helps.
Simon

November 7, 2008 at 5:36 pm #278460Hi All:
I tried uploading the latest version of the slideshow as simondooner suggested. Before I even try turning on the sh404SEF I already have a problem. The slides don’t even change.
go check it out http://www.wholeliving naturals.com
at least with the older version the slides were changing.
ideas??:((

November 7, 2008 at 6:20 pm #278467Changing fine here!
Try holding the CTRL key and clicking refresh on your browser and no harm to clear the cache in Jooma either… go to admin backend>Tools>Clean Cache
urls look much better now. You still using sh404SEF or just joomla SEF?

November 7, 2008 at 7:47 pm #278477Did both those things and no results. But, I think it is a Mozilla Firefox issue. When I look at it in IE 7 it is fine. When i view it in Mozilla 3.0.3 it doesn’t work.
I currently am just using the standard Joomla 1.5.7 sef settings. So I think we have it narrowed down to a Mozilla browser issue…maybe…
Thanks for the reply Scotty!
