Why must you onMouseOver the graphic to change the description to the respective tab?
Just click through the right-hand thumbs and watch the description language…uses the same description until you mouse over the description.graphic area. Clearly broken.

Yes I am seeing the same issue but only IE 8, looks fine in IE 7 and Firefox 3.5. :confused:
February 22, 2010 at 5:39 am #333354If I’m reading correctly, you don’t want the image that you want to display in the slideshow in the article.
The issue here isn’t the actual image in the article. If you revert to HTML editing in Joomla, you will notice that the image is actually linked via coding, and not the image itself.
March 2, 2010 at 8:35 am #334347Hello,
as a company we would like to buy the template JA Rasite. It looks professional and very powerfull. But we also noticed one major problem:In IE8 the JA Slideshow2 Module is not working perfectly. Somehow you need to mouse-over to the image to change the text corresponding to the news item. In IE7 and Firefox it is working correctly.
If you click on a new News Item you should automatically see the new text correseponding to the image/article.
Take a look at your own demo: http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_rasite/
There you can already see the problem if you open in IE8 in comparison with IE7.
Can please somebody tell me how to solve this issue!!!
We really would like to start with this template as a company….Kind Regards,
Pieter JansenSaguaros ModeratorSaguaros

March 3, 2010 at 7:50 am #334601Dear guy
if anybody has the issue as pieterjansen pls fix this as following:
1) open the file modules/mod_jaslideshow2/assets/script.js and find codes:
this.maskDesc.desc = null;
replace:
this.maskDesc.desc = null;
this.maskDesc.setHTML(”);
i have updated for our module, pls wait for download in around 1->2 days.
Thanks
March 12, 2010 at 12:31 pm #335965Hello again,
it’s been a few days after you suggested this solution. But on the demo site of joomlart.com i still see no difference. So the problem still exists. Or hasn’t it been updated on this site yet?greetings Pieter
March 15, 2010 at 10:31 am #336247Hello tienhc,
i also recognized another problem with JA Slideshow 2 module in JA Rasite:Every article that’s been shown can only be viewed by clicking on the TITLE in the black square. I think it would be much more convenient and logical if you could view the article:
– by clicking on the image as a whole OR
– by clicking in the black square as a wholeIf this only requires a slight change of code, please let us know.
Thanks, Greetings,
Pieter Jansen

April 29, 2010 at 8:17 pm #342097Hello there,
Slideshow in JA Ores, in IE8 does not works quite right, there is a white box agaist the articlies, this is also apparent on the demo site.
The white box is on the right hand side and hides the text. -
