October 16, 2011 at 2:13 pm #169731Hi Folks, J1.5 and Teline4. Im using JATabs and JABulletin for content taken from the K2 content on my Frontpage.
question 1 – Ive looked all over but cannot find the css to change the background of the JATabs – it seems to be transperant and picking up the grey hatch bacground of template – how can I make the module background white.
question 2 – cant seem to find the way to include the text of read-more in the jabulletin listing of the topics that are displayed. The image and title etc but not the k2 article ectract.
Question 3 : Can I include a SECONF JATabs on a target page of an article – I mean that from a RAtab/bulettin set of articles . when you click a link and open an article – can that article include another jatabs set?Thanks heaps for input.

October 18, 2011 at 5:44 am #419920Hi
#1 For JA Tab background
<div class="ja-tab-content" style="position: absolute; left: 0px; display: block;">
You can change content background by this code
.ja-tabswrap div.ja-tab-content {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 red;
border: medium none;
padding: 0;
position: absolute;
width: 100%;
z-index: 100;
}
Or tab background by
.teline_iv .container .ja-tabs-title-top {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #F0F0F0;
border-bottom: 1px solid #CCCCCC;
border-top: 5px solid #CCCCCC;
height: 26px;
position: relative;
}
For #2 #3 would you mind provide me a screenshot for explain ?
Thank you

October 18, 2011 at 4:57 pm #420050HU Viet Vu, thank you for helping,
Q1 – (EDITED POST)
Hi – I have looked (almost) everywhere – which CSS file is it that I edit, I cannot find ja-tab-content anywhere.
Do you mean I need to add the <Div class code you have suggested, If so what file/template?. ThanksQ2 – tHis is the same module that I was asking about the background. Each article title shows and I can add a Readmore link – but do not seem to get the intro text of the article (ie first part before the readmore of the article. see image1
Q3 – Maybe I dont explain well. There may be a way to do this in K2. When an article is clicked open and the new webpage opens to display the full article – I would like to have “Tabs” in the article to click for more information regarding that article. – see mock up in image2
Thanks for helping – Regards-

October 20, 2011 at 8:04 pm #420580Hi Viet Vu,
thanks for that – it helps.
BUT – unless Im mistaken, that is Firebug – and while you can inspect and make changes to generated files, it does not save to the original CSS. There is a plugin that will help I think.
When you make a change with FB, there is a change but as soon as you refresh the browser the change is lost. Its great for testing,- so when you look at the CSS file in FB, you see a temp CSSxxx.CSS file not the real one.
Its a real hassle to track down stuff like this – I get close but I dont want to hack to far cos Im about to upgrade Joom.
BTW – I worked out the tabs – just use a Tabs plugin to put tabs in my articles.

As i said in demo video because it’s using css compressing method. Just simply disable it and you can see real path of css file 🙂
Thank you
