Hi…

I have recently noted that my jatab script for articles that I use on 4 pages of my live website has stopped working although the same script works on my localhost!
I have checked everything twice and there is absolutely no difference between the script path and other configurations between my localhost and live site.
This is quite strange since the script used to function normally on my live website until recently. Does anyone know the cause or the fix?
I am using Joomla 1.5.26 and running JA Purity II.

Here is the code path on one of the pages:

{jatabs type=”articles” ids=”150,151,152, 167″ view=”introtext” position=”left” widthTabs=170 heightTabs=30 width=”980″ height=”380″ mousetype=”click” animType=”animFade” skipAnim=”false” duration=1000 }{/jatabs}

The tab is supposed to show article IDs 150, 151, 152 and 167, but it doesn’t!

Hi…

Thanks for the tip!

I have changed permission to 755 both for ja.script.js (under the js -> Menu folder in my root) and layout.css (under the css -> Menu folder).
WIll that suffice, or should I still apply any other changes?

Can you please verify that you use the latest version of ja-tabs ?

The version I am using is: Ja Tab for Joomla! 1.5 (RC1 version).
I guess it is not the latest version. Besides, I am not a paid member, and it appears that new version of jatabs is available only to club members.

Yeap, that’s a very old version i am afraid you need to get a new one, maybe you need to consider getting one of our subscription plans and grab your fresh legitimate copy.

Okay. Thanks for the tip. But, I still don’t understand WHY my old version of ja-tabs has stopped working!
Could you throw some light on this issue please.

Hi joomfan,

Joomla 1.5 is outdated and is no longer supported by Joomla! or by us anymore… please upgrade to Joomla 2.5 or higher version.
