    Installed the JAVoice Demo on a new install of Rockettheme’s Infuse template.

    Located at http://www.cywired.com. Go to Your Voice under the Discuss menu.

    Use demo/demo to test it out.

    I get some errors when trying to post anything on JAVoice:

    MSIE 8.0 with Joomla 1.5.15

    Took out CometChat but that didn’t do anything…even turned off the fusion menu…still errors.

    Definately worth getting this app if it can work on my site…maybe better than SIMAnswers?

    Thanks for looking into that. It would be great to have the suggestion form inputs working. Also to have it scalable so it will work in a smaller width site like mine.

    Also this error popped up when clicking on the “Top” “New Ideas” menus below the main input field:

    Message: Object doesn’t support this property or method

    Also the “What Happens if I Run Out” popup doesn’t show near link…maybe have a more independant css throughout JAVoice?

    Has potential…not sure 30 days will be long enough to see if this will end up being compatible with my site though. If so, I would be impressed.

    Extension of trial licence can be requested via Support System. It may be granted on case by case review.

    I would like to inform that all issues that you reported have now been fixed and updated to the download package. Kindly download the latest package for re-installation.

    I installed the update but still cannot post a suggestion using the main input field. Still get:

    Hi kristip,

    Actually, the above questions have been fixed and updated to the download package as I did inform you earlier. You could also see our demo site for more info.

    Anyway, if you still have any problem after reinstallation, I am still waiting for your FTP pathway/username/password via ticket#(XHT-312647) so that we can have closer look and get the comp reinstalled for you.

    Please provide more information via that ticket for easier follow up. Thank you.

    I had done a reinstall from the download two times after the initial install.

    I had sent you the PM with the login as requested 12-01-2009, 01:49 PM .

    1. “what happens if I run out” link popup window doesn’t always show.

    2. “what happens if I run out” link has a bullet outside of yellow box.

    3. Not clear what the “suggest” button does next to the main input. Doesn’t do anything on my site.

    4. Alot of content overlapping in layout after typing in “teacher” in the suggest field. Looks really bad. I widened my layout a bit more to see if it helped…but it didn’t.

    I just sent you another PM with the site login information.

    I have uninstalled the JAVoice demo from my site(s) as it has not worked as shown in your demo…and you support was not able to work within my site even though I had provided them a Super admin account, extPlorer access and an ftp account…twice.

    Then, I get a message tonight saying I could see changes actually working, if I first bought the extension liscence…uh…no thanks. Good luck with that approach.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Actually, you have three posts recently concerning
    1. CSS Bug >>this has been fixed as informed
    2. Install JA Voice on another site>>we could not access the host to inspect the root as it is down
    3. And this issue JAVoice Script Errors on Posts>> JA Voice component works well with many JA templates as you see on our demo site. For specific styles, certain customization work need to be done to get the component go smoothly therein.

    And this is your case. However, I am sorry to inform that we could get this done for you for free if you purchase an official license for JA Voice. Though the trial version is not available anymore, those who downloaded before the policy change still get support in case the issue deems a bug.
