Hi There, I’ve been using Teline II and Jazin plugin for over a year, but now we’re migrating to a new host and also to Teline III.

Jazin plg is not arranging articles as it should be. I’ve tried to recreate menus but didn’t work either. I need help urgent.

New website is http://apostoladobrasileiro.org/ma, clique on the first category and you’ll see…

    thanks.

    Hi,
Plz try to clean all cached data, go to plugin manager and re-order system plugin list in order to T3 plugin to be last.

    Cleaned all cache…
    I’m not using T3 plugin…
    Nothing changes, still not working.
Jazin plg not even recreating all menus when enabled.

    Hi,
I just managed the plugin to update setting and now I see it arranged properly. Plz check again yourself.

It didin’t… if you see the old site which is teline II there’s nothing like… Jazin plg should arrange all the sections and categories to show just part of it,not the entire article, also the menus are notbeing created. Under the Section “Comunidades” I have 23 categories and only 1 was created. I even deleted the entire Magazine menu and still doesn’t work.

    I’mvery frustraded with this situation… :((

Once again I do not see the plugin in list. If you manage the template to use “mainmenu” instead of “magazine”, your front page will have modules displayed, it is because the modules were assigned to “Home” menu item of “mainmenu”. Thus, when using “magazine”, you must re-assign the modules to be displayed at “Home” menu item of “magazine”.

I could not check it since you uninstalled the plugin.

The plugin was uninstalled and re-installed, because I was trying to fix the problem. By the time that donglt replied to this post the plugin was already installed, but for some reason it installed under a different name “JA Section menu plugin”, I believe the nickname of this plg is not important, please at the file column it should show “jazin”

If somebody there could take this issue more seriously, I’d appreciate. I pay for a membership in order to receive a more appropriate support. This doesn’t seem like is going any further… >:(

    Hi soaresa,
I’ve just visited your site and seen it’s working fine, all of 23 categories under Community section were rendered. I think you already fixed it.

NO I didn’t fix it. I deleted and recreate all the categories, this recreated the menu but if you click in any category under ther menu, is NOT formating the articles as it should be… In the plugin is setup to show 2 columns, with 8 articles and 4 links, but it shows the whole article and is supposed to make a picture a thumbnail and cut the whole text to just a short description.

It’s not working like on Teline III demo.

Something is wrong either with the plugin or the template… BTW I installed the template from the quick start and it’s was working fine up to a certain point…

    Still an issue…

    just go to http://apostoladobrasileiro.org/ma/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=140&Itemid=646
As you see, the first acticle now is shown only short intro. It is caused by I managed the article and add a “Read more” break point for it. Plz do the same for others yourself.
    <blockquote>supposed to make a picture a thumbnail </blockquote>
Just download and install “JA Thumbnail” plugin, it will make this easy. 🙂 http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=353

Don’t want to a pain, but the main benefit of having JAzin plg installed is to avoid adding READ MORE and thumbnails to the articles, and as I mentioned before, this was working at some point… It stopped when it began adding articles.

I hope this is not the “solution” just yet… sorry, but this is important for this website.

We publish over 10 articles a day and from different users, if I make them create thumbnails and readmore’s it would be a completely mess by the end of the week.

Thanks, for your efforts… keep trying, please…

    Mate,
The function of JAZin, as you known, it created a menu that menu items are sections for main nav and categories for subnav, section menu’s will display section layout, category menu’s will display category layout, only that. It is not able to make any effect to articles, means it can not split your article content and resize images automatically, you must handle this work.

<blockquote>This plugin will find all available section and categories in your Joomla site and create all menu items link to such section/categories. Once created, menus item will be set to publish status. You can delete or unpublish unnecessary menus. The menu will be recreated if you choose “Update Setting” = Yes and click SAVE/APPLY. Go to http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showthread.php?p=49647 for more information </blockquote>
