I’m sure I’m not the first one to experience this annoying feature when the JAZin plugin does its update work. I hope someone has the answer.

On ALL my magazine menu items I have set on each one the Show Page Title to ‘No‘ in the Parameters (System) settings. I think showing page titles is duplication of information, and ugly too with the default large font.

Having done this work to get my articles and categories to display without Page Titles, I sometimes during development need to make changes to the categories list. When I do this I now need to recreate the magazine menu to get the menu structure correct. So I go to the JAZin plugin and set it to update and save it.

Now when I navigate to any menu item to check them out, ALL page titles are back. So I have to go back and change each magazine menu item parameter again, which takes a long time.

How can I stop the default of Show Page Title = Yes being applied every time JAZin fires.

I have searched without success the various JA and Joomla files looking for a config file of some sort that I can edit to change the default of this parameter to No.

This will be a big timesaver to me and others.

Strange, when i set the page title to Hide in JAZine config, it hides the title, I even tried setting it to Show in menu item system parameters and then applying Hide from JAZine parameters and it has set it to Hide, as you can see:

Are you using the latest Teline III?

P.S. Don’t know if it could be of any help, but did you try to play with init group params, in file jazin.php located in /plugins/system?

Thanks histeriks, that fixed it for me. Don’t know why I didn’t see that option in JAZin. I thought I looked everywhere, but obviously not.

Thanks for the other tip too. It could come in handy as I learn the quirks of Teline III.
