    Hi,
I am using the IRONIS template 1.7 and the latest versions of DOCMAN and JCE editor.
JCE editor is indicated as the by-default editor in the Joomla! configuration.
when I upload or edit a document via the DOCMAN front-end screen, I don’t see at all the editing panel with all the buttons.
I can see them when I am using the administrator interface.

When I keep the tiny editor, the buttons are displaying in the front-end screen of DOCMAN.

any idea how to get the JCE editor displaying in the DOCMAN front end when I use the IRONIS template?

    thanks
    yves

    Hi,
here enclosed a screen capture (edit of an exisiting article. there is no button bar on top of the editing place and the text appears in html tags.
the published document can be reached at http://www.responsible-practices.eu.
I also posted a question on the DOCMAN website as it may come from their interface as well.
    Thanks
    yves

    Hi,
in fact I disabled the two plugins related to JA Comment (JAComment ON and JAComment OFF), and the JCE editing toolbar displays back in the DOCMAN editing window.
So far I don’t these two buttons that much, so no problem, but it could be good to have them later on.
Please let me know if you find something about it later on.
    Best Wishes

    Dear Viet Vu,

thank you for having looked at it, but in fact the problem is not solved. for instance, the JA OFF plugin was enabled and it blocked the display of the editing bar of buttons in the docman editing interface.
(for your info, at the same time this editing bar of buttons effectively displays in the usual “submit article” editing page. so the problem is really between the DOCMAN editing module and the impact of JA Comment plugins ON/OFF.).
So I disabled again the JA Comment ON and OFF plugins.
I let you the backend access on with you account so far in case you want to check other ideas. I will also let you know if I have a reply from Joomlatools (DOCMAN).
    Thanks
    yves

    Dear Viet Vu,

I got a supplementary reply from Krisstoffer from JoomlaTools (DOCMAN). I enclosed here below, but you find the full thread there as indicated originally above

“I’m not a Javascript wizard (far from it) but I suspect that as JA Comment uses a fair amount of it’s own Ajax it could be a simple conflict – problem is .. their boards are closed so I can’t really tell you much.. I would advise popping a post on their end see what they say.”

Do you have any further idea?
    Best Regards
