I read many about JFolder::create: Could not create directory on this forum but cannot fixit.
Who can help me with this.

All i install is fresh 1.5.22

if i open by admin (login) display on top: JFolder::create: Could not create directory

further when i look by template telline iv for options this on footer displa:

Hi @bert2804,

Your problems are because your host / server does not permit file / folder creation. Please check permission of folders as “templates/ja_teline_iv/local/etc/layouts” and “templates/ja_teline_iv/local/etc/profiles”.

If you can’t resolve your problems, please provide me your website information ( ftp account, and admin user account ).

Hi @bert2804,
Your problem is because your website has enable ftp in the global config. So when you open edit ja_teline_iv template on admin page, you see some errors, i disabled ftp and these errors are gone.

Error “not create directory”, are due to inability to t create new folder in “Cache” folder. To fix it, i change folder permission from “755” to “777” and check.

I eliminated this problem by looking at directory permissions in back end of joomla and making sure that the files that were unwritable were made writable.

Also, ensure that the directories etc. have the right ownership.

These problems are evident FTP layer is enabled in global configuration, so some folders do not have permission to write in.
Here is the solution :
