Hello,
I’ve moved an existing joomla installation to my server, edited some things, everything worked fine but as soon as i tried to upload an extension i got this error:
JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths
I tried everything, searched every topic and i even re installed joomla (with quickstart, fresh db), but i keep on getting this error.
What can be the problem ????
Next to that, i’m getting errors on my phpbb forum where i didn’t change a thing ! It looks like my server went crazy ???
Check the phppbb error here (on the bottom): http://www.iendracht.be/forum/index.php
Fatal error: Not able to open ./cache/data_global.php in /usr/home/deb11575/domains/iendracht.be/public_html/forum/includes/acm/acm_file.php on line 112

December 23, 2010 at 7:18 pm #368350Probably, this can help::
December 23, 2010 at 7:38 pm #368357The problem is that when i follow those guidelines, this isn’t right anymore:
# open the local copy of the folder.php file with a texteditor and find the line number 203
# insert following line of code here (after the foearch and bevore the JPath::Clean statements)on 203 there’s no Jpath:: Clean statements in the neighbourhood … 🙂
AND when i go to open basedir, i see this:
/home/deb11575/:/tmp:/var/tmp:/usr/local/lib/php/
which is right i think ???
