Hi

I have been trying to edit the css and php for my website using ftp. I have been able to edit the files I want. When I upload the files however no changes can be seen on my website?

I use firebug to view the source and the source does not seem to change even though I have uploaded the new css or php file? This is becoming very frustrating.

I have logged into the template Administration and see this error: JFolder::files: Path is not a folder
Also for all the parameters I see this error: @group Element not defined for type = japaramhelper

I think this must have something to do with the files not updating. Has anyone seen this error before and if so how can I solve this problem?

edit your configuration.php
and check

var $log_path = ‘D:\xampp\htdocs\photo\logs’;
var $tmp_path = ‘D:\xampp\htdocs\photo\tmp’;
if the path is correct

Hi My paths are correct as I have just checked
var $log_path = ‘/home/aaa/public_html/logs’;
var $tmp_path = ‘/home/aaa/public_html/tmp’;

I have also noticed this error message under the parameters : The parameter file /templates/AAA/params.ini is unwritable!
I have checked the permissions for this file and they are 0755
