August 20, 2012 at 11:35 am #464751Good looking site. Magento users get this – whilst Joomla users get Vintas with a standard VM template! :((
Nearly all my sites are ecommerce. Perhaps I’m expecting too much but I want/need, my customers desire, up to date modern looking templates. As a inexperienced member I’m after as much help as possible to achieve this including those special extras that SHOULD come with the templates. Like maybe responsive but certainly special features added.
Other template clubs include in-house developed or adapted modules that work with the main component e.g. JoomShopping. I had to pay to have JA Content Slider adapted. Icetheme for example include special modules, an ajax cart, an adapted accordion with image pop-ups to include Joomshopping products. Oh, and a specific Language position!! See an example here. (Sorry about some of the fotos – only as good as the client provides right! 😉 )
I like JA and enjoy most of the templates but feel you guys could go the extra mile. Since I joined in November 2011 the Active Members on the site has fallen from 7’500 to 6’200. Adding little treats to the templates might reverse that trend a little. 🙂

August 24, 2012 at 11:49 am #465218i like JA templates and also feel and agree with Swissa that magento templates from JA still has a long way to go, I use joomshopping with joomla with all my client ecommerce site but several on Magento and would like to keep that option opened if we can get more temmagento template created by JA. Im a loyal customer 🙂
