We just purchased latest version of Job Board, and installed it running latest version of Joomla, but have a two problems.
First, the job filter module does not work in the back end, and does not show when it published on the front end.
The fields that should show when setting the filter module parameters after being set in the Job form customization, does not show at all.
Second, the Open ID logos does not show in the register/logon module.
And, last, not a error, but a question, where do we find the file for translating ” forgot username / password, and register as employer / Job seeker ” in the login module?

February 14, 2010 at 7:05 pm #332712Hi,
For the display problem, no help, you just have to wait on monday …
For your translation problem, take a look there :
1. For :
Register as an Employer
Register as a Job Seeker/language/your language/mod_jajobboard_menu.ini
2. For :
Forgot your password?
Forgot your username?/language/your language/com_user.ini
I hope that it’ll help you, good luck 😉

February 19, 2010 at 4:29 am #333115Hi guys,
The reason why module filter jobs do not implement, apart from the front end, is because in the setting module in admin, the parameter “List filter fields:” currently empty and has no fields for selection.
If you want to list fields, you must go to:
admin-> JA Job Board-> Form Customizations, filtering by Jobs Form. Then, configure wanted fields appearing in the form filter by the parameter “Field is on filter” as “yes”. For example, Categories, location, etc. .. And then after successfully configuring these fields, these fields will appear in the parameter “List filter fields:” in the setting of module Filter jobs. In the setting of this module, you must tick to re-select wanted modules apart from the search in the front end. Thus, module shall be shown.February 19, 2010 at 8:04 am #333128We have of course done all this. Checked and double checed, and it does not work! After working on this for hours and hours we got the filter job module to show on the front page, but it is not showing the fields it should. And the the one field that shows in the module back end is a multiple select field that according to you should not show at all. The rest of the fields, correctly set on the back end do not show!

February 22, 2010 at 8:40 am #333368Hi Ilex,
Sorry for the mistake. I saw your credentials already.
– I have checked your site but I could not access FTP due to unexpected reason. Please check again so that I can update for you.
– The condition for field to show on Filter job module: Field is set “is on filter” = yes, field type = “Select” or “Multiple select”, and field must have valid data. While the field you want to show on module filter job has type = select, it has no data therefore it could not be visible at front end -
