Hi

We have been trying to get the site up for long but keep running into issues. The latest one is that the job listing table is not working properly. The main pain points are:

1. There is no visible tool tip (displaying recruiter’s name, job description etc.)

2. You can not click on any of the job listing in the table.

Please look into this matter at the earliest.

Hi

I forgot to mention that this problem persists on other pages also where this table is displayed.

Note: it seems that tool tip etc were working 5 min back but now they are not.. Maybe you guys were working on it. Right?

Hi

I just realized that the job listing is working fine on Internet explorer 9 however its not working on chrome and firefox (both latest version)

Is this a compatibility issue or something else. Please take a look and let me know at the earliest alongwith some suggestions to overcome this issue

Hi JA devloper

Thanks a lot for sorting out this issue.

However it seems that now the ‘Search Jobs/ Internships’ box is not working properly i.e. the left hand side popup of locations, category etc. is not visible at all. We are using JA Purity II template (as you already know)

I would really appreciate if you can outline the procedure undertaken to rectify these issues so that we can do it on our own in the future rather than troubling you.

Hi

It seems that this problem of ‘Job listing not working has reappeared on our site. I just changed the location of this module after you guys got it working and it has stopped working again. . So apparently, this stops working in firefox whenever we change the position of this module.

Additionally the Search jobs plugin is also acting up. The left popup window is not being shown.

I have also put up a ticket for the same. I would also request that you share the brief outline of the procedure followed to identify the issue so that we can take care of it on our end. This will save both of us a lot of time.

I already fixed error of ‘Search Jobs/ Internships’ box on your site and I would like to let you know the way to resolve your issues as below:

1. Mod Ja ListJob
– Edit code line 245 in file /modules/mod_jalist_jobs/tmpl/themes/default/jalist-item.php
– Edit html code to

2. Mod JA Filter Jobs
– Edit code line 29 in file /templates/ja_purity_ii/css/layout.css
– Add more this line of code: “overflow:visible;” into this selector “.column div.ja-moduletable, .column div.moduletable, .column div.ja-module, .column div.module {}”

– Edit code line 43 in file /modules/mod_jafilter_jobs/ja_filter_jobs/css/ja.job_filter.css
– Add more this line of code: “overflow:visible;” into this selector “#ja-filter-jobs ul.menu li div {}”

Please take a look and let me know if you need more information.
