    Hi,

My last review of the Job Board component found that the following utility is missing:

When a Job Seeker apply for a job post, the Employer receives the application form and can also review the candidate resume, and add it to the favorites list, or write an email to the candidate. But I’m missing some kind of Status flag like: received (default), in progress, selected or rejected; which will be displayed at the candidate Applications History list of applied jobs.

    Is this clear?

It is also usefull for Job Seekers, as they get some feedback about the selection process for the job offer.

    Hello,

How are you getting on with this?, the status flag could also be used to sort, select or filter applications a the employers aplication list.

    Hi,

I don’t see movement regarding this upgrade. The following images are from a Spanish job board website, with the status flags as mentioned in this post.

First is the joobseeker applied jobs list:

There you can see 4 status flags in colors,
green: preselected, orange: in process, blue: CV received (default), red: discharged.
The checkboxes allows the candidate to filter the list by status.

Second is the Company published jobs list, with the applications received separated in status groups.

The status of an application can be edited by the company who has publised a job, either at the list of applications received (imagine that a job offer has received 200-300 applications) with checkboxes, or manually at the application description of the candidate.

This way, the candidate has a feedback from the companies about the status of the application to a job offer.

I hope this information is helpfull for your development.
