    Hello,

This will be my last post for today but as you can see, what a mess the system is. I find it unbeleivable that I spent so many hours on just nothing yet.

I posted two test jobs on my site and suddenly it does not shows them, I do not understand why?

Thank you for all the help and I hope we can fix all the things.

    Hi Timmi,

If you want any jobs to be displayed on frontend, pls check the Publish date and expired date to make sure these info are valid with the date of your system.

For Test 2, you set Publish date = 2013-08-29 21:52:28 and expired date = 1970-01-01 01:00:00 so it is true if it will not be displayed on frontend now ( 23 Aug)

I have reset those info and it is ok now http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/734/3687956824.png. Pls check and confirm the same.

Ok thank you, it was late last night.

A question for you. In the system I have 30 days duration of a job, this means that the expire date could be filled in automatically, why does it not. Next to this, when I fill in a expire date myself but longer thatn 30 days, wil the job still end after 30 days or stay longer online. If I hide the expire date what is happening than, nobody can fill in a date, is the system than automatically fill in a date.

    Thanks

    Hi,

There are 2 ways to set job as expired jobs.

    1. Use global configuration.
    2. Use expired_date field in each job.

    See more details at http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Job_Board_2.5/Administration#Job_Posting

OK, thanks. Now I understand, there is an extra field showing up when I put the expire date field on no. I didn’t understand that before.
