Hi, I have been reading the membership rules in regards to joining joomlart.
I think your templates are by far the best out there. Bar none.
I would really like to offer them to my clients but I really cannot figure out what the basic membership is good for. It says that I can use any template on 2 domains. Good. That means that I can pick any two templates and place them on my site.
However, the developer membership, which is what I should really purchase, is quite expensive for the return. I cannot be sure all my clients will want a joomlart template and if they do wouldn’t I be better off simply have them purchase the template at full price? After all it’s their money.

With the basic membership I see I can get a discount. Does that mean that if a client wants a given template I can purchase it for them and install it?

Basically, I really want to give you some money for your high quality templates, but also I don’t want to go broke in the process and I want to purchase them in the most effective way.

I think I need some real word example on what membership plan I should go for and what they really mean.

    Thank you

    Dear corrado444,
    Thanks for your question.
    1. I think that $299 for 14 current templates + 24 more in 12months which make up 38 quality templates. This is not expensive when you make a comparision with other templates providers as well as your time and effort of designing such quality templates.
    2. As a developer license, you will benefit a lot from our templates. As you can see, our templates are very easy to customize and adopt to your client’s liking.
    3. The price will double from 01 Oct 06 when we start to release 2 templates every month and I think that this is the best time that you can consider for the developer license.

Please feel free to reply if you have any other question

I realize that the developer subscription is a good deal. My question was: wouldn’t it make more sense to have each client purchase the template they want at full price, at least at this stage of my business when I have maybe a Joomla site per month in developement?

In other words, a template is about $40 each. This is a cost easily absorbed in the price of developing a website. Could I just purchase the templates as I need them?

    Hi corrado444,
I think the Developer package should be better.
    – Pay one time
    – Get a life time license for your clients websitewe
    – Forget about any billing until the next year.

We are improving the Membership Managment Software which we require members to enter the URL of their licensed websites and once the system is completed, you can enter unlimited domains of your clients.

I agree, there should be other options available for both templates AND extensions. I’m sure more templates would sell if there was a single purchase available. The price for a developer package is a little excessive for just the odd download and license.

JA templates are just about the best out there – make them more available. I would not mind paying $40 – $49 each for such excellent works!
