After enabling Jom Comment on my site, the right module position is pushed down to the bottom beneath the main content.

Same issue in both IE and firefox.

Problem also reported elsewhere for Joomlart templates:

Could you please advise a fix?

its usually the article itself, and not jomcomment that causes this issue. I’ve had it happen many times. The 1.5.x joomla series is very sensitive to incorrect coding. Turn jomcomment off and then see if the article itself still breaks the right hand column, If so, its the article coding and not jomcomment.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

With JA Sanidine II Light, I’ve just discovered that the Jom Comment integration problem is confined to menu items with setting “Blog layout” type.

However, I’ve found not all JA templates experience this problem – only those with custom HTML files.

    Solution:

Find the folder: “ja_sanidineii / html / mod_content” (which overrides the default Joomla content settings). Either modify or simply delete the files within this subdirectory (as I did) and the Jom Comment integration problem fixes itself.
