Can you confirm the above again? They have been fixed. If the problem persist, please provide screenshots with markings. I have put the announcement on hold till then.

so, I downloaded the package again and tried with browsers IE, chrome and firefox.

the “more” thing never comes as a block, only as text in every browser.

the like/dislike problem and styling bug at groups page are at chrome – in IE and firefox it works.

There is an issue with the display of Event pages as well. I hacked something together very quick by changing the class .event-top to have a width of 700px.

The search area above that shows by default, and I’m having a hard time figuring out how to get that to disappear. You can check out the issues with the site at: http://mulliganshollow.com/scene

I really hope to see an updated version of ja_social that fixes these issues.

    Thanks,

You should check on Jomsocial about the like and dislike option. They decided not to implement some part of it? I think the Activity Stream is the one. They didn’t want it taking up to much restate… But video, group, photos and event I believe working.

Thanks for that charles99, it does seem the like/dislike might be a Jomsocial decision from their docs. I do not have a copy to test though.

Another odd issue, which turned up once I upgraded to 2.0, deals with the event view page. I have a picture in the description area that displays fine right after I clear the cache. However, the next refresh, the picture disappears. I looked at the source and it seems to be pointing at an incorrect location.

So I disabled the cache in just the template area, but left the Joomla cache running and now it works fine.

Did you clear the template cache? Is gzip enabled in global config>server? Try disabling it and clear the cache then try again.
