June 15, 2012 at 8:13 am #457526Dear konradwagner,
Currently, our JA Social template has not been upgraded for JomSocial 2.6.2.
We shall update this template for 2.6.2 version in the coming weeks. It has been lined up and will have to wait its turn.
It has been mentioned that the template upgrade cycle is 3 months and will be taken up for upgrade then.
Regards

We are going to start on a community site and was really interested in this template.
Can new upgrade be released before 3 month cycle. Its will be great to get any
approximate date so that we can time out project.Regards

June 26, 2012 at 7:56 am #458843Hi Vero,
We shall try to release it next month, once we are done with the regular monthly templates. The problem is with each JomSocial release the template breaks, not our fault as they keep changing the HTML markup. It is not possible for us to keep upgrading the template everytime they release a version, as JA Social is Joomla template supporting JomSocial, kunena components not vice versa.
Its been a problem for long and thats why we have resorted to 3 months cycle for this template.
You can always use default jomsocial themes with JA Social, we shall update for latest version in the coming month.

June 26, 2012 at 3:02 pm #458925What can i say…. i did not read anywhere i should espect this when i bought the template… just great to have a project standing still for 3 months because of this… it’s for sure last time i buy a Jomsocial template here….
Just dont make any sense to sell a product you cant support for 3 months… it sucks bigtime, not even a fix or anything… pstt.
July 9, 2012 at 12:26 pm #460347Any update for this? Is the fixed version for Jomsocial 2.6.2 going to be released soon? Thanks.

July 10, 2012 at 8:48 am #460445Hi Imtiaz,
JA Social supported Jomsocial 2.6.1. Apologize we haven’t had plan on support for Jomsocial 2.6.2 yet because this version have conflict js with mootools of joomla default.
Regards,
July 18, 2012 at 6:44 pm #461346Ok thanks, I have installed 2.6.1 instead. However, the initial problem with the user preferences and profile tabs not showing still remains. It’s been six weeks since the issue was raised. Any progress? I’m sure it won’t take too much work to fix. Thanks.

August 12, 2012 at 8:26 pm #463951I’m confused and worried! We’ve updated JomSocial to the latest version and now most of the settings do not function (edit profile, preferences etc…). We had to cancel our site launch and are now losing money each day this is not resolved.
I will edit the CSS but can someone tell me how to do this as stated above?
“Yes, you can copy profile file from default theme then paste override to ja social theme. Hope that can help you resolve the issue”?
Please assist!
