im confused and unclear…..on installing JA Social Quickstart.

After installing the Quickstart and Installing Jomsocial…. i don’t know where to start.

Can someone guide me…. or where i should start and follow

thanks for the reply….. i already installed everything..and follow the instruction.

BUT some of the setting make no effect… especially the hello me….. My JS Notification also mess and setting masthead also very difficult to follow

I just check this module on your site, make sure that in the ‘Advanced’ tab, you should add a space before the class suffix name: http://prntscr.com/aa3gs3

Already make some adjustment..but still, the Hello me module still not the same as the demo version.

And also the JS Notification setting been followed..but still not the same as the demo.

Seems that Joomsocial 4.1.6 changes some mockup so it affects the style of module. Unfortunately, our template is available for Jomsocial 4.1.1 only, we are in progress of updating to this 4.1.6 version, could you please wait for update of template before using this new version of Jomsocial?

In the mean time, please make sure that you add the menu items in the Template Extended Styles option under Template manager: http://prntscr.com/aj7n9y – this will help to load extended style for JS provided in template.

We’ve released the new version for JA Social II template which includes updates for JoomSocial v4.1.6 – latest version. Please take a BACKUP of your site and use JA Extension Manager component to update the new version of template.

Jomsocial 4.2 stable version is not ready – still in beta, RC versions, we will update when stable version is available.
