March 19, 2016 at 12:21 pm #902095Hi,
We’ve done a complete make-over of our site (which also has the latest version of JomSocial) and the test version using MovieMax is currently being completed. However, looking at another thread here, a comment made by a moderator was that this template was not designed for JomSocial…
So, the question is: does Jomsocial work with the template? Yes/No? if not – since the installation and configuration of the component went without any problems, but can be done to get this CRUCIAL part of our website functional? Or should we just change to a different template alltogether? Currently no registration is possible, changes to a user’s profile, photos, etc. cannot be made by the user in the test environment.
THE SAME ISSUES APPEAR when we use the elicyon template!!!

March 21, 2016 at 4:02 am #902626Hi
You can take a look at the info page of JA Moviemax template for which 3rd party template supports: https://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-moviemax
With being said, this template will provides styles/layout override for these extensions. All other 3rd party extensions like Jomsocial will use default style / layout of Jomsocial. JA Moviemax is a Joomla template so basically, it should work with any 3rd party extension which supports the same version of Joomla.
Try to make a test first by switching default template on your site (JA Moviemax) to a standard template of Joomla like Beez / Protostar and see how it goes. In case, the problem still persists, then there is some thing wrong with your configuration or bug of extension.

March 21, 2016 at 4:30 am #902639hi,
thanks, I’ve installed another template and it works fine, so there must be something not working in Moviemax. a real pity, as the layout and config of Moviemax were exactly what we had wanted. now we will just use one another template to finish the project in time.

March 21, 2016 at 7:05 am #902668If you want to use this template again with JS, clarify the steps so I can replicate the issue. I will pass to the team if the problem comes from our template.
