August 12, 2009 at 9:33 am #143403Hi,
since I upgraded jomsocial to latest version 206 iam getting a huge problem with the popup window. When I try to add a video, the popup window is fixed (was before scrollable) now the text is longer than the box and I cant see or reach the buttons.
Please see:
Here is the standard bubble theme, and the popup is correct.
Aswell the linespace is too huge. How to I minimize them like in the bubble theme?

August 12, 2009 at 10:21 am #313949It takes them a little more than an hour to get to topics. 🙂
It looks like a generic CSS issue, probably a float: left being overridden.

August 12, 2009 at 3:29 pm #313973Well, its urgent now since its a coporate website. What is wrong with the support here? Why are the templates not updated to latest version? I surely wont continue my membership if nobody is willing to help me.

August 14, 2009 at 7:14 am #314204Well, I posted a support ticket, which as delegated to their design team, then it was closed and I havent got any help or solution. This is really frustrating me. We pay for working templates. Its not good when templates are not updated in the same moment when the core got updates.
If you create templates for 3. party plugins, you’ll have to support and need to update them when the plugin got updates. Otherwise your templates are senseless and just a way to burn money imho.
Its now a few days and I havent gotten a solution, nor feedback, nor help. You telling us you only bring out 1 template per month to push the quality and support. What I see is a “standard” new template and no support 🙁

August 14, 2009 at 1:35 pm #314257I’ve been waiting for several weeks with no luck, not even a reply from a developer. When I submitted a ticket, I was told I would get a reply in my forum post, still no go. They seem to be referring us back and forth between ticket system and forum, though neither actually gives results. Sorry to highjack your thread, but I am getting really frustrated at this, and I am very close to giving up getting my issues fixed…

August 17, 2009 at 1:38 am #314468Hi
I am sorry for my delay.
We are tried to solve this issue. Jomsocial component updated the latest version. And current you does not support this version in our template.
For the reason, i am afraid that you have to handle the changes at your end.
We will try to update our template with the latest version of jomsocial in the further.

August 17, 2009 at 7:03 am #314477If this is such an important site then why did you update a key component without testing it?
Provide a link to the affected page and maybe someone in the community may be able to help?

August 17, 2009 at 8:19 am #314484Thanks for the reply even its not sadly not helpful. You should post a warning to the template that its currently not supporting latest version of jomsocial. Hopefully you are able to update the template asap. thanks.

August 17, 2009 at 9:36 am #314491It could have been helpful had you posted a link to the affected page. Having a link would mean I could take a look at the problem.
And why shoild I post a warning?

August 18, 2009 at 7:05 pm #314654the devs should post a warning to the JA Sulfur that its currently not working with the latest Jomsocial component. Iam in deep contact with the jomsocial devs and they assured its a template mistake.
Why I dont put a link to the affected website? I wish I could but the website is not viewable from the interweb. Its a intranet website with runs on domestic servers behind a firewall and with no access to a DMZ.
We will switch nut to gavickpro template which supports the latest jomsocial version. thank you and byebye.

August 18, 2009 at 8:19 pm #314667I think it is a minor css tweak that is needed to fix this but as I do not have jomsocial and am not going to buy it to test this I cannot help. It would probably only take a couple of minutes to fix if I could see it but as I cannot…
Good luck.
