I have just upgraded my Jomsocial template which has just been released,all users cant update their status,they can write on friends’ wall with no problem.

I conracted Jomsocial team, and here is there reply(ontime reply,not like JA who don care about us)

We have temporarily used jomsocial default template for your site, and as you can see, the issue is gone. As such, this issue is not caused by Jomsocial. This issue is probably occurring because of your recent joomla or template upgrade.

During testing we discovered that the following error was being thrown whenever a user tried to update his status :

500 DB function failed with error number 1054<br /><font color=”red”>Unknown column ‘status_access’ in ‘field list’ SQL=UPDATE `jos_community_users` SET `status`=’test’,`posted_on`=’2011-06-14 14:58:07′,`status_access`=’0′ WHERE userid=’65′</font>

If this does not resolve your issue, we suggest that you contact JA support team(they don know how dead the team is) as this issue is not related to jomsocial in any way.

Since i paid my $,i am coming back to you guys,what should i do? i opened ticket for this looooong time since the first release of JA Social 2.2 but no one replied,

Hi topinwuhan,

Thanks, We’ll check this problem again. If you view the source code, you will see. We don’t override js or ajax, so it use js and ajax of the default template. I will have an answer for you soon.
