I don’t really know why I’m bothering posting because I never get a reply from anyone @ JA. But here goes, maybe for the benefit of other poor souls about to plunge into this crap.
We made a decision to use JA Sulphur & JomSocial to power a social network. Big mistake.
Many of the features in JomSocial (ESPECIALLY Videos / Photos sections) haven’t even been coded at all by JA, the pages are plain and unformatted. Many of the template features are wrong, don’t work in IE8, or simply look like crap.
If I calculated the amount of time I’ve wasted fixing simple things this template should just be able to DO, it would probably be a lot more than what I’ve supposedly saved by investing in a JA membership.
I would really appreaciate a reply from someone for a change… JoomlArt is by far the worst Joomla service company I have EVER worked with in terms of documentation and customer services.
How can you release a template where things simply don’t work or entire chunks are missing??
I guess the question is – The photos and Videos sections in JomSocial / JA Sulphur look terrible. Is this a known issue, or is there something wrong with my installation?

We listed all issues, fixed them and update the latest version.
Please kindly download our package and install again.

so, you mean the latest version of JA Sulphur has some fixes to it?
Is there somewhere I can see a demo? I’m using this on a live site and I don’t want to expose my users to more destruction than is necessary.
