do you have any plans to release a Jomsocial 2.8.X theme for your new JA Mitius template? That would be really awesome, cause it would be a great community template.

this is big plus for JA templates as a whole if you include themes for Jomsocial. i totally support this question and maybe put it on list of to do things

Just my POV and not that of JA as far as I know.

JomSocial is a great product with a very active developer team. While having such a strong team is great it also has its disadvantages. From the point of view of a template club the regular updates mean a lot of work to keep up to date as we have seen with the JA Social template. User get very upset if they cannot have the latest version of Jom simply because the custom template for it is not fully compatible. This puts a huge amount of pressure on the JA team to get updates out but also often causes delays on other projects. So if JA was my business (which it is obviously not) then Jomsocial themes would not be something I would want to get bogged down with.

Jomsocial does work with this template nicely but does need a few css tweaks to look really nice. There are also a few developers out there that have sites dedicated to creating jomsocial themes to fit commercial templates. Maybe it is best to leave it to them and their dedicated teams?
