This is the only Joomla component/ template I know that can pull pictures from Facebook, so thank you. Is there anyway to get the wall posts to update the JomSocial wall as a User object? Typically the Jomsocial wall reflects a user’s action and my user is “publishing” these Joomla articles. Can’t it trigger a user action post in Jomsocial using the user object reference?
Integration seems easy enough:

Use JomSocial user object, CUser

December 17, 2012 at 9:11 am #476464Hi tread77,
I am not sure I understand what you are really mean here.
JA Wall uses Joomla standard article and we do not trigger any action to update anything.
JA Wall comes with JA Social Feed and can feed some facebook page content.
If the problem is the communication between JomSocial and Joomla content, then it is not related to JA Wall.
JomSocial is a 3rd party extension. Please describe your problem in detail so that we could help.

December 28, 2012 at 8:21 pm #477816It’s not a problem issue, I am asking about a feature request. Not sure where to put it. My point is that many Joomla people use JomSocial and you have the only Joomla component that actually pulls pictures from Facebook. If you could make those pictures post to the JomSocial stream, I am sure most users with JomSocial would pay. I would.
JomSocial uses a call to the User action and just posts it. So right now you have it set so that Facebook items pulled in, get created as an article. I’m just pointing out that if you associated that article creation with the user object call in JomSocial it would post to the stream. A lot of plugins do this so that they post their actions for the community to see.

January 2, 2013 at 9:30 am #478086Hi tread77,
I am afraid your support request is not out of support scope. Our support scope is limited to bug fixing and helping users get demo site alike setup. Heavy custom work like this will take time and sorry that I can’t help.
I think it is not too hard to do so. Since you are willing to pay for this, I would suggest you hire a developer with a reasonable price at http://www.joomlancers.com/
