I have installed JA Antares on Joomla 1.5.

If it is compatible with Joomla 1.5 why do I have to enable lagacy mode to get it to work? Do all the JoomlaArt templates require this? Or is there any template that can work without enabling legacy mode?

The slideshow in the header is not working. Only a black and white picture shows. It does not transition to the other pictures.

It looks different from the demo on your site? How do I make the 3 boxes appear below the slideshow (as shown in your demo)?

Joomla 1.5 is not a stable version. You should use it for test purpose only (Joomla warning).
Joomla 1.5 supports backward compliant with templates from version 1.0.x, however, you need turn the legacy mode on.
JoomlArt will release Joomla1.5 templates when Joomla release 1.5 stable version.

j1.5 rc2 is out! and there is even template contest for it… so, thats latest time to start building 1.5 compatible templates.. cant wait anymore 🙂
