I found this out the hard way, so i needed to share

Issue: editors do not load, preventing the template from loading, or you get the template with no images, Found when using MCE and/or JCE editors

We found the solution about editor issue. This problem occurs only in Joomla 1.5.11.

and it will not affect other version (joomla version less than 1.5.11). So we found the solution to overcome this issue in joomla 1.5.11 that we need to set up the following settings in “Global Configuration” tab.

Solution :

Click Tab ‘system’ in Global Configuration( admin -> site -> Global Configuration -> system) and then focus on ‘Media Settings’, there you can see a option to set ‘Minimum User Level for Media Manager’. by default level is Author, so there we have to set the level as “Registered” using list box.

Wasn’t this feature introduced ages ago? Or maybe there is only a problem with it now?

I know 1.6 is going to have a complete new User level system.
