i don’t understand why beside the joomlart other joomla templates companies still releasing joomla 1.5 templates when joomla.org not going to support joomla 1.5 from April 2012.

there are too many components still need to be upgrades for joomla 1.6.

Hmmm … Could it be because MANY are still using – and intend to continue to use – J1.5 based websites?

Very similar to the way that there are car parts makers out there who still make parts compatible with models that were built prior to 1990, 1980, 1970, 1960, etc.

    😉

precisely because it is a joomla 1.5 supported until April 2012
Joomla 1.6 will be supported only to August 2011
Joomla 1.7 will be supported only in February 2012
for Joomla 1.8 is not yet known

So the best support for the Joomla 1.5 and it’s good, I can not imagine what half a year I upgraded to a newer version
