    Hi,
I came to this site searching for a Templete for news because the demo look very atractive, signed as club member and download the Package, but i had troubles installing the package and configuring. Plese ….if some has going through this troubles, i will be tremendous gratefull for your advice !!

    1. My Joomla is the lastest Rev 1.5.8 in the Portal
http://www.comoenbolivia.com/comoenbolivia/ (this si how it looks after installing the templeta)

    2. The lastes Tline II was download it 1.5 V1.6.Zip
I decompressed the file and upaload it each individual file and install via
    the Joomla installer
    MODULES
    .mod_jacatslwi_j15.zip
    .mod_janews_fp_j15.zip
    .mod_janews_j15.zip

    PLUGIN
    .plg_jazin.zip

    TEMPLETA
    .tpl_ja_teline_II_j15.zip

All the above files were in diferent folders after decompress the original file download from this JA website, and Upload and Install using the Joomla Installer , I have going to each module and Enable them (now there are with green Check marks)

    My PROBLEM:
during the installation, there was a message that i had to congigure teh layout of teh news and this area is not clear, even i have going to the JANEWS FP (Front page) to configure in adavance as a FP headlines.

I came to this forum because this module told me to come
“…. Rearrange frontpage contents (article choose to display on frontpage) of Joomla into Headline layouts like news portal. You can choose among 2 options layout JA News Frontpage is a part of JA News packages (JA News + JA News frontpage = JA News 1.3 and released with JA Teline II). For Userguide, please visit http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-teline-ii-read-me-userguide/ …”

What else I need to do or install that look as the “funcy Add ” install on this DEMO from this JA DEMO shown on this website

    http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php?template=ja_teline_ii

Beacuse my Site doesn’t look the layout or arragement as teh above demo
    http://www.comoenbolivia.com/comoenbolivia/

The support and questions also goes to the Admin of this Forum as well as anyone who read this Post. As I said, I signed to this website only beacuse of this TELINE_II templeta
    Not interested and anyother one.

I AM STUCK !! so whom ever set the DEMO on this Site for this templeta, please write me and tell me what else I need to make it look as the DEMO (Be specific)

    Hi willyh

In order for it to look like the demo of Telline II you need to install the QuickStart package and data. This will give you an exact reproduction of the demo site.

Information for installing QuickStart for Telline II are here:

    I hope this works!

Hi willyh, and welcome to Joomlart! It is a great place and fine templates.

Before I go into all the details of your note to try to answer each one, It seems that there might be a simple answer.

When you install a joomlart template, and if you want it to look like the demo, you should install the qucikstart package. It will be the sip file inside the quickstart folder. That installation includes all the modules, it has all the right settings, and there is no need for you to add the modules later. What you have to do is change the content to your own, and add whatever else you need. But that way, you get your site looking like the demo right away, and can build from there.

    Good luck!

Thank you to all of You …
I follow the like sprovided and got upto “how to install teh Quicstart” but teh support is not clear in one Step

    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-install-joomlart-quickstart/
On this Tread talks about “Decompress” and Upload the Files

Perfect, taht is no Problem: We can decompress and Upload, but when do we suppose to Upload? to a Folder within the JOOMLA installations? Outside of JOOMLA, so the Support is not clear How to do a QUICK START Upalod and Installations to make a Templeta to look excatly as the DEMO.

Recember, my case might not be unique because i landed here, looking for the templeta, but my decicion was to jump to joomla 1.5 since i am familiar with MAMBO tradicional old websites.

    THANKS you!!!

just download the quickstart package and upload. no joomla installation is needed as joomla is included in the quickstart package. do it like how you install joomla on your server.

after uploading, just proceed to the url of the location you uploaded it to and install ‘joomla’ as per nomal.

taking extra note that you should ‘install sample data’ should you want it to look exactly like the demo.

PS: pressing the ‘thank you’ button of the helpful posts would be a good way to thank those who have helped you. 😛

    Hello Willyh and the rest

I joined this forum yesterday and I downloaded the same template >>JA TELINE II>>

I encountered same problem . However, finaly I installed sucesfully, My sytem is installed http://localhost

Simply if you ” already have a site with contents and other extensions installed” and you install QuickStart package ‘ja_teline_ii_quickstart.zip or ja_teline_ii_template.zip’ , after that you have to “install extensions”

My advise to you is that unless you are experienced and know what you are doing, don’t install any other joomla other than ‘ja_teline_ii_quickstart.zip ‘ As Sunrise suggested, it has everything.

I am newbie…never used joomla…and so far i like it:-)

Installing the Quickstart is about the same as installing Joomla, except that when you are done you get the site set up like the Demo. You upload and decompress it into your root directory.

It might be helpful for you to read the following how to about Joomla in general. It also contains some advice for people migrating from Mambo to Joomla.

    I hope this helps.
