Hello
I recently was asked to help manage a site for a community center. Before then I’ve taken a Joomla class a college. So before taking over I check out the site in Firefox and Chrome and it seemed to work fine. After I started performing my duties at the office I loged on the site with IE 8 and noticed that the right panel was rendering on the left.
When I got home I used IE 9 and it was working just fine.
A few days later I installed a few extensions, the first one I installed was Akeeba back up and then a few plug-ins like youtube embed plug-in and pullquotes.
The next day I came back to the office and updated the IE there to 9, sadly after loging on the site from the office using the updated IE 9 I noticed that not only the right side is missing but the whole footer is gone as well.
Here is what is supposed to look like
And here is what I get in Internet Explorer
If you noticed the right panel and the footer are missing on the second set of images. And I think it’s only happening on the main page. 🙁
Any ideas or suggestions?
Let me know if anyone can help I’ll provide you with a link to the site.June 16, 2011 at 1:49 am #396574I think this is a Teline III tempate, not sure about the version. 🙁

PallaviJune 16, 2011 at 9:15 pm #396784yeah any help would be greatly appreciate it.
After going through numerous forums I found some people had the same problem as I did. I went back to my site and troubleshot it and found out that everything works fine if I disable the JA News 2 module and it still works if I set it to display 2 columns instead of 3 as I had before. So Im guessing the problem is with the JaNews. Is there a quick solution? because someone recommended that I contact the developers of the template.

June 17, 2011 at 6:42 am #396839Hi timka,
If problem is going away when you unpublish JA News 2 module ,then this problem seems to be causing because of some article(s) published in the JA News 2 module. If published articles contain div tags,it tends to break any template.
You can find the problematic article by unpublishing articles one-by-one and check it in the front-end. When all the content can be seen perfectly, you have found the article which is affecting the whole layout. Then remove the div tags or any unnecessary tags from that article, save it , publish it and check the frontend again, to see if it’s fine or not. -
