Alright, so I know that this is not actually a JoomlArt question, and that I should be posting on the actual Joomla forums, but I’ve tried that and haven’t received any help yet, so I thought I’d try here and see if anyone can help me. I hope that isn’t a problem.
On http://www.brackenhurstbaptist.co.za I find that when I close my browser (FF, IE, Opera) it doesn’t remember my log in status. So I can log in, even selecting the “Remember Me” option, but when I close my browser and open it again I have to log in again. In other words, it automatically logs me out every time I close my browser. Can anyone think of a possible fix for this?

Have you tried in a different computer?
October 22, 2008 at 6:44 am #276543I have. It looks like it might be a Community Builder issue. Since the initial post, I have found that if I uninstall CB then the login issue disappears. I’ve seen a number of threads on the CB forums noting this issue, but no replies from the developers. 🙁

October 23, 2008 at 8:29 am #276686Hi
i checked with newest quickstart , and it works good
How do you install your site ?
you send URL but I can’t view because it requests an account to log inOctober 23, 2008 at 12:08 pm #276701I don’t use the Quickstart; I first install Joomla and then the template and extensions separately. As I said, however, it appears that it is a CB issue. I have uninstalled CB, since I don’t REALLY need it at this stage for my website. I don’t know if I should mark this as “solved,” because the problem wasn’t actually SOLVED, just worked around. You can mark it as solved if you think it’s necessary. I’ll just give up with CB for now.
