I have what I feel is a simple question. How does one make certain items in the top user menu take on a simple web address?

For example, I have a web site with the domain http://www.mywebsite.com. I want to have a basic menu at the top to include “About Me” and “Projects”.

How do I make the menu items http://www.mysite.com/about me or http://www.mywebsite/projects?

    Thanks!

This is very easily accomplished by simply inserting the link to the page which you want the menu item to be directed to.

In your Menu Manager, select the menu with the items you want to modify. Select the menu item itself. The first three editable fields are Title, Alias and Link. Obviously, it is the “Link” field that you want to modify. If you have the url for the page you want to link up to that menu item, simply insert it into the “Link” field – and there you go.
