Could not find anything on this.
Please look at the attached image to see the issue.
Under Joomla 1.6 with mega menu the selected module displays however the decorative border – specifically the top border – is clearly separated from the side borders. It is precisely the same under Firefox, Chrome, and IE.
Any help is appreciated.

April 12, 2011 at 1:38 pm #385947Is this only with the logon module?
April 12, 2011 at 1:43 pm #385951Hmmm… Good question… Hold on and I will try with something else and report back.
April 12, 2011 at 3:04 pm #385955Phil,
Desperately trying to test joomla 1.6 rasite template mega menu border around module issue and now have another issue as shown in the three images below :((
As you can see I am not able to “hold” the html code despite using “No Editor” so I simply cannot test for video at this time and imagine this will require a separate thread. I have to test to see if it is something about the rasite template, or some other aspect.
The following images show my failed attempt…
Original embed code pasted..
Post save munged embed code…
Resulting unuseable item on menu…
Are you seeing the same pop top in your world ? If so, may I trouble you to try an alternate module ?
Please advise.

April 12, 2011 at 5:12 pm #385973The HTML code is a Joomla 1.6 thing and nothing to do with the template. There is a new feature that is part of the ACL called text filters. Even when using “No Editor” it has an effect for security reasons. Go to the article manager and click on the options button. It will bring up a new page and one of the tabs is called “Text Filters”. Click on that and switch of filters for the Administrators group and the Super Users groups (and any others you may want to have the facility) and you will be good to go.
I will look into the template problem later.

Spot on with the text filters !!!
I have noooo idea how long it would have taken to figure that one out without your guidance !!!
As you can see in the image the menu and the module are now working properly but, sadly, the pop top is still present :((
Pop top on another module in mega menu…
I’ll look forward to hearing your thoughts.

April 12, 2011 at 5:59 pm #385980Try in the Paramaters (JA Extended) for the menu item setting Show Title to “No” and Group to “Yes” and see if that helps
April 12, 2011 at 6:19 pm #385982Results shown below…
Requested Changes to Parameters (JA Extended)…
Resulting appearance…
I deliberately used the quickstart installation for this troubleshooting period if that of any value !?

April 12, 2011 at 6:22 pm #385983On the last page use “Module Positions” instead of “Modules”. and assign that module to a unique module position name (Just type a position in the positions box in the module manager).
April 12, 2011 at 6:53 pm #385986I immediately made the change you suggested and it “appears” to be the same.
This is after a ton of cache clearing activities in Joomla – just to be sure – as you recommended in another post.
I actually started with the module position method as it is the standard (if I understand correctly) approach and in 1.6 they “seem” to be interchangeable.
HTML Module position declaration…
Menu item configuration…
Result…
I would be delighted to provide you a system login.

April 12, 2011 at 7:18 pm #385990Is it OK with the login module now? It is fine on my setup.
Can you post as code the embed code you are using so I can give it a try?
Feel free to PM me a login.
April 12, 2011 at 8:49 pm #386005I am glad to hear it is working correctly on your setup… That means there is hope !!!
I am still getting the pop top and have PMed you with the site url and account login information.
Thanks so much.

April 13, 2011 at 5:32 pm #386228Please take a look and see how I have setup the login module in your menus structure and you will see how I have overcome this problem. Not sure if it is how the devs intended but it works. I will ask though.

April 13, 2011 at 5:44 pm #386232Phil,
Aaah… the old two step; an item within an item… Ingeneous !!!
I will try to reproduce the solution with the video module and also for multiple columns which – actually – would follow this same form I suppose.
As you note this is a bit of a work around but I thank you so much for figuring out a solution and this seems entirely reasonable.
Thank you Sir.
