July 23, 2010 at 3:16 am #152773Since I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere, thought I would ask this question here. With Joomla 1.6 RC being close to being released by the end of the summer, what are the plans for Joomlart if any for ensuring templates and extensions are compatible with Joomla 1.6?

Please be informed that as soon as Joomla 1.6 is released as stable version, JA shall have clear roadmap for upgrading all current templates/exts to adapt with that platform. For instance in terms of how the workflow goes, with the recent release of stable Joomla v.1.5.20, all of JA Joomla templates/extensions have been reviewed and upgraded to this version accordingly.

July 27, 2010 at 7:59 am #350849Hi Ja Developer.
When you upgrade some or all templates to Joomla 1.6 – might this also be an opprtunity to refresh your back catalogue of templates and bring some or all of them up to date in terms of mega menu, T3 layout, improved back-end editing, SEO optimised etc. etc?

The plan to upgrade all our templates to Joomla 1.6 whenever it is stable shall focus on the adaptibility of our templates on the new platform. It shall need a separate plan to select some of old templates to get upgraded to T3 layout, adding mega menu, improved back-end editing, SEO. If you specially like any of the previous non-t3 templates revised to the new framework, add your wishlist HERE

August 5, 2010 at 1:14 pm #351783Are the quick-install packages updated to Joomla 1.15.20? I’d hate to install something with security bugs and then go through the nightmare of updating everything to a more-secure version.
