I am trying to create a multilingual site with Joomla 1.7 JA Cloris template. I followed the tutorial and when trying to access my site the following warning appears:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() ....librariesjoomlalanguagehelper.php on line 86.
The browser’s address bar has two columns “/” at the end of the site’s URL e.g. http://www.mysite.com// instead of http://www.mysite/en/.
I have googled the problem and seems that the database is not a native joomla 1.7 database. Most probably the quickstart download of Joomla 1.7 JA Cloris template is missing database upgrades. In folder installationsqlmysql there are several sql scripts including joomla_update_17ga.sql.
Which scripts I must execute in order to upgrade the database to version 1.7.

please let me know the tutorial which you follow to update your site to joomla 1.7, i am sure that the quickstart download of Joomla 1.7 JA Cloris template is missing database upgrades

I have followed no site update tutorial – only the multilingual installation tutorial (http://docs.joomla.org/Language_Switcher_Tutorial_for_Joomla_1.6). I have installed Joomla as a new clean 1.7 JA Cloris quickstart package. Which worked fine at the beginning but as I tried to enable multilingual support all the problems I have mentioned in my previous post arisen. I am developing the site so I cannot provide URL.
As you have mentioned yourself too, the quickstart download of Joomla 1.7 JA Cloris template is missing database upgrades. Is there a way to bring the database up to date and by fully compatible with Joomla 1.7?
