I installed Bistro in Joomla 2.5. I’m using the module Masshead position right. Works fine, except for the fact that it automatically adds the page title between the Masshead title and the masshead description. Can’t get rid of it. Tried ‘hiding’ article title and page title and it doesn’t show up in articles, but only in the masshead module. Odd… Please help.

Sorry for getting back late.

Regarding your issue, it isn’t a problem. It’s a feature of JA Masshead.

This feature is to display page header (title + description) for each page. The title & description should be gotten from the following sources:
1. Joomla Article & K2 Article:
– Title: article title
– Desc: in Metadata Information, Description field

2. Menu Item:
– Title: Page title or Menu title
– Desc: N/A

If there is no title, masshead default title will be displayed.

Your “Code word for 10% off” title is a module title and it’s always shown. I hid it in module and set it as default masshead title.
