Hello dear friends, at first I want to thank Joomlart.com for the best christmas gift ever – iPad 2.:))))) I enjoy Joomlart gift every day 🙂 thanks!!!!!!

I am running a newspaper website on Joomla 2.5 + JA TELINE IV + K2 (all the latest versions) on a Hostgator VPS server..

the website contains for about 25.000 K2 items, and approximately 100 items are being added daily.

The website is too slow, it opens other pages in 8-10 sec. and my hosting operators told me that the slow speed is because of K2 and JA TELINE.

Please help me to optimize the website script, or give me an advice to speed up the website…

I also tested the website with Yslow, and the result was horrible, it is loading dozens of different css, and JS files, that i am not amble to disable their loadings, please tell me the way to optimize these frustrating css and js files, this kind of website shouldn’t load sooooo slow..

Please run your site through this analyzer and see the results. then, go back and address all the issues.
