    Hello!

I recently got a full membership at joomlart.
I am a rookie in joomla and I hope that I will be provided with the help that I need.

I use xampp to create a joomla website locally. I installed the uber template.

Unfortunately I have to use joomla 2.5 because the web site that is constructed will – (have to) be uploaded to a server that does not support joomla 3.3 (does not support php 5.4 I think).

So I choose uber that is compatible with joomla 2.5 & 3.3.
I hope I will be able to upgrade in the future without problems from 2.5 to 3.x.
What do I have to take care of so I will have the less possible problems.
What would you advise me to do?

    And something else…!
I want to use the Container Slideshow.
I have it showed at my homepage in suitable position.
How do I add content to it?

Sorry for my bad English and my ignorance…

    Sincerely

    jo

    Hi Jo,

First at all, Welcome to Joomlart Forum

Uber support both Joomla! 2.5 and 3.x so please feel free to upgrade if you want.

About the technical requirements for J3, please check this post for more detail (as you can see PHP Minimum: 5.3.10 +)

Slideshow load content via Module Position, so You need to create JA ACM content first, like so

then assign to same position, for e.g: business-slide-items

Next step, go to your slideshow module then select the module position

Last, I recommend you check our documentation for Uber here and if possible please install our quickstart package for Uber to take a closer look about module configuration.

    Thank you
