I have a clean, stock version of Joomla 3.0.3 installed on a Windows 2008 R2 server, with IIS 7, PHP 5.3.5, and MSSQL.

I went to installed the T3 system plug-in and upon installation, the process crashes with an HTTP error 103 (unknown error). I checked the installed plugins and it appears the T3 system plug-in is already installed. So, I activated it and enabled the JA Elastica template. The front site displays the error ‘the plugin JAT3 framework must be installed and enabled.’

I also tried installing the T3 extension manager component and end up with the same HTTP error 103 message. I checked the PHP log file and there are no errors there.

What am I missing here? Is there a compatibility issues with Joomla 3.0.3?

    TIA

    Hi jchastain ,

There are 2 reasons causing the current issues on your site.
    1. Our JA Elastica supports Joomla 2.5 only, we still don’t upgrade this template for Joomla 3.0x >> You can’t install it on Joomla 3.0.3.
    2. Our JA Elastica is running on JA T3v2 framework, not T3 (Our latest framework generation) We did also announce this instruction on our template page.
Thats why you got: “The plugin JAT3 framework must be installed and enabled.”

    Leo,

Thanks. I have another template though that was written for T3 and works on Joomla 2.5. However, if I install it on this same 3.0.3 instance, I get the same message about the missing JAT3 framework plugin.

So is there a difference between the T3 framework plugin that came with the Joomla 3.0.3 base install and what I would download on the JA site?

Sorry if this is obvious – I have never worked with T3 before and I am not a Joomla / PHP expert by any means.

    Thanks,

    HI jchastain,

For JA Zite template, you need to install our JA T3v2 framework
    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=3096
    >> If your are new to our frameworks, I suggest you read the following documentation :
    – JA T3v2: http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/Guides
    – JA T3: http://t3-framework.org/

    Regards,

    Leo
