I just created a clone of this site on a new server (same host) http://news-sgi.globalprintmonitor.net/en/ , upgraded Joomla to 3.3.3, upgraded JA template and modules etc to suit, added a couple categories, menu items and some new content and found this odd message on Layout tab of template manager.

The only odd behaviour front end I’ve noticed so far is that http://news-sgi.globalprintmonitor doesn’t open but http://news-sgi.globalprintmonitor/en does. In theory the site has only default English articles but some other language articles may be lurking in content.

Any ideas?

Update: Reverted to Joomla 3.2.3 for live site which seems more stable.

You can rename index.html file in root site(with http://sgi333.globalprintmonitor.org/index.html) first, then pm me FTP account of your site if you still face the problem on your site. I will help you check further.

Meanwhile:

I have another problem today on http://news-sgi.globalprintmonitor.org/en/promo/current-promotions/21430-signovation where I’m trying to add this link to each large image on the page: http://www.signmiddleeast.com/

It seems to add the link in JCE but no link appears active on any image on front end. Weird.

I just renamed index.html file to index_old.html on sgi333 site, you can see it’s working fine now.

About the link image in SIGNOVATION article you can find and change it as my screenshot

Thanks. The /en gets added automatically now.

However, I can’t get the image links to work. I had done as you indicated but although they appear to get linked in JCE editor the link appears to be missing on the front end. I tested it here all all major images on the (Joomla 3.2.3) page: http://news-sgi.globalprintmonitor.org/en/promo/current-promotions/21430-signovation

But the image link worked on here (Joomla 3.3.3) http://sgi333.globalprintmonitor.org/en/promo/current-promotions/21430-signovation

Mystery to me.

I have compared all php code in com_content on http://news-sgi.globalprintmonitor.org/en/promo/current-promotions/21430-signovation and http://sgi333.globalprintmonitor.org/en/promo/current-promotions/21430-signovation and could not see the difference on that.

What did you do before that? I guess you have installed plugin to modify the image in article detail, see the screenshot

You will see the image was moved out of the link in the article details .
