Will you be updating Purity III to be compatible with Joomla 3.8.0?
if not what do you suggest to keep up to date?

Indeed, that bit me … Site is completely blank after updating to 3.8.0. Other templates display the content, but of course they are not adapted to current content.

I believe they are working on fixing the T3 Framework. Everyone is running into problems with Joomla 3.8. It is the reason I have not updated to Joomla 3.8. And stay away from any work around because you will just run into another problem…

Our team is working on the Updates for T3 for latest Joomla 3.8

Kindly wait for the update and do not update the live site.

But will the T3 Update work with this template? The Purity III Template has not been update in months… It was updated for Joomla 3.7.5 but it has not been updated for Joomla 3.8.

Can you tell us should we update joomla 3.7.5 to joomla 3.8 or wait until Joomlart has update the Purity III Template and then update to joomla 3.8?

Because we are talking about two different things… Joomla 3.8 update and the Purity III Template Update for Joomla 3.8. People are confusing the two and Joomlart is not helping. People think that when you find a fix for Joomla 3.8 that its ok to update… But the Purity III Template may not correctly because it has not been updated for Joomla 3.8.

So please be a bit more clear in your reply and let people know Joomlart Framework Fix is different than the Purity III Template update.

T3 is updated for the Joomla3.8 that work for T3 blank template,
Kindly wait for Purity III template update for Joomla 3.8
If you want to test kindly try the update on localhost.
