With full features like:
Tagging, Comment, Pictures & Video Gallery, Calendar, Forum etc.
As starting point for many Joomla Bloggers…

Joomla has built in blogging features. Not only that, but there are ample extensions (many free) for added blogging/comment functionality – just as there are for photo galleries, videos, calendar and community Forum (i.e. fireboard, vBulletin, phpBB).
