    Hi to everybody.

My name is Mirella and I am the president of an no profit organization.
I am working to the site web of my organization using the template Teline II and I have intention to integrate Civicrm.
It is me very liked and I would not like to abdicate this tool, but on the official site of the project the best documentation is reported to Drupal.
In reality in the section related to joomla there is a beautiful… “to do”…

Has someone of you experimented possible problems or conflicts that could be born between joomla and civicrm?

    a thanks for whatever suggestion,

    Hi Mirella

CiviCRM works with Joomla 1.5.x .

I’ve got it installed on my site for testing purposes. The extension is a very detailed extension and also is very time consuming when it comes to configure it the first time around.

You certainly will need the documentation when it comes to configuring it.

According to CiviCRM’s site, any part of the component which is not available in the install will refer to Drupal’s administer instructions.

E.g. The access control is not available in the joomla installation hence the manual only refers to drupal.

From my experience majority of the component’s features are available in Joomla.

    Ok,
it is true. I had read comments that had made me reflect.
nevertheless, it is also truth that the best thing is to experiment…. at first hand.

    Thanks for the answer.
