I have a whole bunch of Joomlart extensions and my template that are listed as needing to be update in the Extension Manager: Update component of my Joomla site, but whatever Joomlart extension I select, I always get the error message:

Error Invalid extension update

None of my other components/extensions from other vendors give me this error when updating through the Extension Manager: Update component of my Joomla site.
I tried logging in to update.joomla.org prior to trying to update, but this also does not fix the problem. How can I solve this issue so that I can use the normal way of updating my installed Joomlart components/extensions/templates using the official Joomla Extension Manager: Update component of my Joomla site?

May 9, 2015 at 5:55 pm #570012Hi
Joomlart extensions to be downloaded and updated need authentication because them are not free and then Joomla core extension manager doesn’t works
So use Joomlart Extension Manager component where you can add your login information and download updates

My other paid extensions work just fine with the official Joomla Update component. That is what this official component is designed for. So how do we get this to work? Pointing me to an unofficial Joomla update extension is not a solution to the problem!May 9, 2015 at 6:17 pm #735087@pavit 472633 wrote:
Hi

I’m pointing you to the solution instead , If you don’t want to use Joomlart component then you should ask to Joomla Forum why component doesn’t works
Best regards

February 23, 2016 at 9:58 am #889117JA update system sucks big time. So amazingly annoying. I know Joomla community scorn you for this too. About time you got your act together and utilize the proper update manager.

If you are experiencing a particular problem with the JA Extension Manager ( FREE ) extension then you can open a new topic and ask for specific help on it,describing wih more details your problem.
Joomlart developers will be happy to help you with it.
Best regards
