Except all other templates I work with, only Rochea still displays the Joomla notice on the bottom, all others are simple to be changed.

I looked the for the notice in any CSS file but could not find it.

Is this managed with a placeholder or what?

Anyone knowing what CSS / PHP to change, thanks a lot upfront!

i never got rid of it either

i removed the lines for the footer at the bottom of the template index file, and then made an html custom mod with my footer information and put it into user3 position

Hmm, I also deactived the footer already and it is still there…. You did similar like I did with JA Galena, but I used a custom footer module from some extension site.

Anyway, did anyone ever get managed to “unplug” the header with menus from the mainwrapper and making a static header menu out of it…? 😎 So that the header stays in place when one scrolls the page. 😉 I want this for all my sites, sad that I can’t use a sharp knife, cut it out and attach it to some other part! >:( Oh, I can, Iframing….see ya later!:eek::

Hi guys,

I believe that line is located in libraries > joomla > version.php (around line 43)

var $URL = '<a href="http://www.joomla.org">Joomla!</a> is Free Software released under the GNU General Public License.';

So you could perhaps edit it there and change it to something else, or just delete it completely 🙂
