July 12, 2017 at 8:36 pm #1048186Hi there,
For some reason my External URL / Menu Item…links, set to open in a ‘new window with navigation’ are for some unknown reason loading either of top of my homepage or if I set to open in ‘new window without navigation’ they open in a new tab but my homepage changes to the link as well.
Is this anything to do with the template do you know!? Its driving me mad…
Any advise is welcome

can u provide the page URL on which you have this issue?
Also please check the same issue with default Joomla template as the menu system is the core Joomla feature and it works same for all.Regards

Let me know with super user details if the default Joomla template shows the module navigation in a different way.

July 15, 2017 at 12:42 pm #1048785Hi there,
So I ran a test on my beta site (which is basically the same site) I re-installed the default Joomla template and setup the menu in a position I could see…and the link opened in a new window no problem.
The test site is my old url http://ch1vph.xyz/ri2k/ but it has the same logins as the new one, I have however put the test site back to its originally setup with the brick store template although ‘Protostar’ is now installed on the old site url if you need to test?
Please note I also ran this test on the beta site as I didn’t want any problems when switching template as the site is now live.
Let me know if these links on the Live Site https://ri2k.london/ can be made blank and display in a ‘new window’ as they do on the default Protostar template.
Thanks

Is that likely to be with the new 3.7.3 update?
Thanks
