    hi everybody,

I’m quite new here with T3.
    I’m developing a multilanguage site.

Right now I have to assign the modules translated on each page.

I cannot do this, I think, because of the MegaMenu (maybe, I don’t know !!)

Joomla works fine with the default language, but when I switch on others laguages,
I only get the content translated but I cannot assig the modules so the modules titles, and
also the modules contents are still written with defauld language.

How can I solve this problem?

    thanks in advance

    Hi

Did you created your new template style and assigned to the language ?
after this make a new mainmenu for your other language and assign it as menu to your new template layout

Then assign the correct language to your module and publish it into the pages contained into the main menu you assigned to your new template layout

    Ciao pavit,

    thank you for your answer.
    that’s what I’ve done.

1 – created all menus in all laguages. Done directly by joomla,
in the final part of the installation. So I have 5 menus, each one for every language.

2 – I created a template “master” that is the default template: assigned to the default language (italian).
in this template the megamenu is pointing to the italian main menu.
Then I created a copy of the template “master”.
And every copy of the template has been associated to the appropriate language and main menu

3 – on the modules manager, I have the menu modules published. but they are published in a position not
displayed on the template, because they have to be displayed via MegaMenu. is this right?

    4 – Then, e.g., I have a module, translated in Russian.
It has to be displayed onlly in home page.
I assign it to display only in home page …

but in home page nothing shows me the module. it’s blank.
If i recall the structure of the layout the position (home-4) is shown correctly. But
the module, translated is not shown.

    grazie

    Hi

Your procedure seems to be correct , but without a link to your website or an access to it is like to drive blind in the night

If you want you can send me via Private Message a super user account for your backend and i will check what is wrong

Il modulo deve avere assegnato nella lingua la rispettiva lingua del menu , in questo caso russian , prima aveva assegnato la lingua Italian

    Ora funziona correttamente
