more likely it is a general joomla question.

I have created my site under
http://74.52.105.194/~kamber/animalhouse the site works perfectly ok

After that I went on the hostgator account created an addon domain in cpanel and connected the domain http://www.animalfacility.eu to the /animalhouse folder.

The domain http://www.animalfacility.eu shows my home page normally but when I go to any of the tabs
a. in the fist click nothing happens
b. in the second click instead of the logical http://www.animalfacility.eu/facility.html I get sthng like http://www.animalfacility.eu/~kamber/animalhouse/facilities.html

What should I fix and where?

IT seems to work fine now? If not check in the configuration.php what it says under live site.

Nope, try to click the Link in the Menu (Facilities) and then move your mouse over a headline in the content. You’ll see the wrong URL in the statusbar then.

I also think that you should check the Config of Joomla and if you can’t fix it there, try to reinstall Joomla. For the content you should be able to export the Database and import it afterwards.

To update the configuration.php file with the correct site url should be enough.

the correct site url should be in the form —>
var $live_site = ‘http://www.animalfacility.eu’;
